As head of the New Zealand Crop Science business, Chris looks after all relationships with transactional customers, manages sales and Bayer’s sales team, and keeps an eye on the rest of the business.
He also manages relationships across farmers, merchants, industry bodies and non-government organisations.
A key focus is bringing Bayer’s global innovations to New Zealand, allowing farmers to have the most up-to-date technology to help drive profitability and sustainability.
With a background in horticultural science, Chris joined Bayer in 2000 as a regional sales manager for the upper North Island. He then moved into its customer marketing team before becoming commercial lead.
His passion is helping farmers and growers improve their crops and businesses by providing them with the latest innovations.
