Based in Hamilton, Bayer’s Upper North Island territory manager Phil Bertram is finding a greater portion of his time lately is spent helping seed companies and contractors ensure farmers get the most out of fodder beet crops.
While far from his sole focus, the surge in interest in the supplement has seen Phil play a critical part in helping educate and advise on a crop that requires some time and care to establish successfully.
